Hostess Pack

 

Additions to round out your Thanksgiving feast! I like to prep ahead of time and freeze for a low-stress holiday!

 

Hoping for Cranberries, Sweet Potatoes, Fresh  Rosemary, Parsley, Thyme, Carrots, Russet Potatoes, Pineapple, Cantaloupe, Red Leaf Lettuce, and Granny Smith Apples.

Hardshell Squash Pack

 

Add extra veggies to your basket! These dinner vegetables will last on your countertop. So fun as a decoration, fun to prepare and eat!

 

Hoping for Kabocha Squash, Delicata Squash, Butternut Squash, Acorn Squash, and Spaghetti Squash.

Roasting Veggie Pack

 

Packed with root veggies galore, there’s a ton of nutritional variety and it is so pretty! When we get this pack we chop everything right away and put it in ziplock bags, and then each time we would like roasted veggies, we grab some and follow the directions below! NOTE: Be careful when leaving roasted veggies out on a sheet pan to cool. It’s so easy to graze on it all afternoon, and before you know it, you’ll have eaten most of the pan and there won’t be enough for dinner! This is a serious issue in our house!

 

Hoping for Cauliflower, Artichoke, Sweet Potato, Carrots Jumbo , Beets, Turnip, Red Onion, Squash, Zucchini, and Eggplant.

 

Simple Roasted Veggies
Peel and Cube in 1″ pieces any/all the items from your pack!
Put them in a ziplock bag and drizzle in enough Olive Oil to cover, then I add salt and pepper to taste, and about a tbsp of onion powder. Shake and shake and shake, then dump onto a pan. Put in over at 375. Stirring every 15 minutes if it is not single layer and cook until fork soft. About 45 min to 1 hour!

Feeling adventurous?
Mix up the seasonings and include about a tsp of cumin. After roasting, finish with a splace of red wine or balsamic vinegar!

 

Leftover roasted veggies are delicious cold as a salad topper the next day!

Asian Pears
(Apple Pears)

Approx 12-18 count

 

A refreshing and delicious snack! These pears are also known as apple pears. They have a firm texture so they hold up better to the rigors of the lunch box and other handling!

Broccoli
Approx 14 bunches

 

Perfect for finger-food snacks in lunchboxes! Great to par boil and freeze! Make last-minute dinners easy. I soak in salt water, cut into consistent size, then rinse well. Blanche, plunge immediately into ice water to cool, and freeze in freezer bags. If you have an electric pressure cooker, prep the same way, put in steamer basket, add 1 cup water, and set on high/manual for 0 (zero!) minutes and carefully manually release immediately. Perfect, hands-free steamed broccoli!

Hothouse Cucumbers
Approx 12 count

 

Plan for cool, crisp salads as the weather thinks about warming up! Cucumber salads are a great way to change up your mealtime sides. Or eat out of hand or use as a dipper! Delicious!

Pineapple
Approx 6 count

 

Delicious sliced fresh and in smoothies, add to jams, and bottle chunks! Freezes beautifully for future smoothies or later processing. We make smoothie kits with our favorite fruit and veggie combos for dump, blend, and run mornings! Juice some up with oranges or mango for a super special and delicious breakfast beverage. Have you tried dehydrated pineapple? So easy and delicious! A perfect summer-y, sweet, and healthy snack at home or on the go.

My kids love Virgin Pina Coladas as a special treat, and they’re pros at making them – even my 8yo! Into the blender goes chunks of pineapple, coconut milk, and just a squeeze of lime. Add ice to make it a frozen dessert – No sugar or dairy required!

English Muffin Bread Pack

These bread loaves are like English Muffins in texture – delicious! And honestly, these make the most amazing Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on the planet. And avocado on toast! The list goes on. Garlic Rosemary Baguette is so versatile: use for sandwiches, garlic bread, bruschetta, and more!

This maple syrup is a delicious addition to your morning meals! We love the darker, richer, more intense flavor of this highly unprocessed, Grade B maple syrup for tabletop use, for cooking/baking, and sweetening all of the things! 

Sourdough Bread
Four Artisan loaves

 

Sourdough Bread goes with everything! Freezes beautifully and can be reheated in the oven! Defrost on the counter, bag closed. Once defrosted, mist lightly with water and place immediately in a 325 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. Perfect with soups and stews!
