Cara Cara Oranges are the perfect kid snack! Juicy, very sweet, low acid, and usually seedless, these are perfect served in wedges on a plate or in your beverage.

Approx 1 Lb

Jalapeno peppers – a staple in many dishes that want a little (or a big!) kick! Think Central and South American and Southeast Asia cuisines!

For our upcoming get-together, we’re thinking a whole mess of jalapeno poppers!

Don’t think you’ll use a whole pound? Easy! Rinse, dry, toss them in a freezer bag, and freeze! Pre-roast and chop or slice for a fast and easy addition to recipes.

Here’s a fun recipe to get your taste buds started!

Approx 6 count

Delicious fresh and in smoothies, add to jams, and bottle chunks! Freezes beautifully for smoothies or later processing. Juice some up with oranges or mango for a super special and delicious breakfast beverage. Have you tried dehydrated pineapple? So easy and delicious! A perfect summer-y, sweet, and healthy snack at home or on the go.

My kids love Virgin Pina Coladas as a special treat, and they’re pros at making them – even my 7yo! Into the blender goes chunks of pineapple, coconut milk or coconut creme depending on what we have, ice, and just a squeeze of lime. No sugar or dairy required!

Red Potatoes
Approx four 15 Lb bags

Roast, smash, boil, mash, saute, bake, broil! My kids adore red potatoes! To cheat the evening craziness, par-roast or par-bake, cool, and then freeze for super fast supper sides! This weekend I dumped a bunch of scrubbed red potatoes into the electric pressure cooker for 12 min at pressure. Threw them onto a pan, smashed them down individually, put them under the broiler to get a crisp top, drizzled with garlic olive oil, sprinkled with salt pepper, and served. No leftovers!

Delicious fresh, frozen, jammed, syruped (is that a word?); dehydrate in fruit rolls; make fruit salad andfruit pizza; toss in a smoothie, smother ice cream, yogurt, cereal, and shortcake; and our favorite: strawberry-topped gluten-free crepes! A favorite dish of my kids is Greek yogurt topped with strawberries and drizzled with raw honey.
