Blackberries

Approx twelve 6 oz containers

Don’t leave these sitting! Delicious fresh, frozen, jammed, syruped (is that a word?), make a crisp or crumble, toss in a smoothie, smother ice cream or yogurt. Enjoy!

Broccoli Crowns

Approx 20 Lbs

Perfect for finger-food snacks in lunchboxes! Great to par boil and freeze! Make last-minute dinners easy. I soak in salt water, cut into consistent size, then rinse well. Blanche, plunge immediately into ice water to cool, and freeze in freezer bags. If you have an electric pressure cooker, prep the same way, put in steamer basket, add 1 cup water, and set on high/manual for 0 (zero!) minutes! Perfect, hands-free steamed broccoli

Local Asparagus

Approx 20 Lbs

Medium size

Asparagus is one of those things that lets me know spring is on the way!  It’s a food we just can’t get enough of as we defrost out of winter.  Asparagus is so good pickled, and also amazing lightly steamed, grilled, roasted or sauteed!  So many amazing ways to eat it. We roast all of the things – an easy, hands-free way to get great tasting veggies!

Local Rhubarb
Approx 20 Lbs

Strawberry rhubarb pie. Strawberry rhubarb tart. Strawberry rhubarb sauce.

Just the thought of rhubarb takes me right back to childhood and summers at Grandma’s house! Freezes beautifully – simply wash, chop in 1/2 in pieces, toss into a freezer bag, and pull out what you need for your recipe.

Organic Fresh Dill

Approx 12 bunches

We love fresh dill! This delicate herb is awesome in eggs and salads, and beautiful in pickling! Store wrapped loosely in plastic in fridge or like flowers – in a jar of water with the tops wrapped loosely in plastic. Dill freezes beautifully! Freeze as a paste or make compound butters!
